Started operations in 1974 with 800 member-consumers, bringing power to communities across 1st District of Samar.

From humble beginnings in Brgy. Capoocan to a new headquarters serving expanding regions of Samar.

Expanded coverage to include 1 city and 11 municipalities/districts, with projects like the Ton-ok-Mini hydroelectric facility and NPC power supply from Tongonan, Leyte.
